Weddings with Brian David

The tone of the classical guitar creates a sacred space that draws people to the present moment leading into the ceremony.  I have performed at hundreds of wedding ceremonies and receptions in the Sedona area since 2001, and I am ever grateful to continue to provide live music for a couples  special day.   It is a continuous joy to participate in a ceremony of sacred union, and I would be happy bring the gift of music to your wedding day.

I earned a bachelors degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Northern Arizona University in 2003.   Since then I have continuously maintained and expanded my classical repertoire.  My Forte is Spanish classical.

My range of musical styles include classical, jazz, contemporary, and Spanish, among others. I have a traditional wedding repertoire to work from, which includes Pachelbel’s Canon in D, Trumpet Voluntary,  Bach’s Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring, and of course, the Wedding March. I have also learned specific songs that have been requested by the bride and groom that encompass a wide variety of music. I have been asked to learn everything from Elvis to the Beatles to Ben Harper, and always enjoy pleasing the couple with “their song”.

If you are planning to come to the area for some wedding planning and relaxation, come have dinner and see me play at Cucina Rustica on the Weekends.  Cucina Rustica is more than just a dinning experience.

If your wedding is outdoors in the beautiful Arizona sun, I have a battery-operated amp that facilitates the volume of the classical guitar and creates a richer ambiance.

I am performing on the episode #1 of the new Sedona Wedding reality TV show Get Wed In The Red.  Check it out!  You can be on a future episode.
